We hope this message finds you well. Over the past month, we’ve been working hard to develop the Cubic platform, expand our ecosystem, and most importantly, strengthen our community. We are excited to share our recent updates with you and give you a sneak peek into some of the new features you will try.
What we’ve achieved so far:
Marketing Updates:
1. Social Media
In May, we completed the setup of our social media platforms, including Twitter, Telegram Group Chat, Telegram Channel, and Discord Server, and have attracted many followers, whom we dearly call ‘Cubi’s. So far, our communities have amassed more than 75,000 Cubis across all platforms. Thank you for your support!
2. Ongoing Partnerships
Cubic remains committed to its open philosophy and welcomes collaborations with more project partners. In May, we forged strategic partnerships with notable projects such as Abyss World, Suicune, Bitkeep, OKX, and others. These collaborations are a testament to our dedication to fostering an open and inclusive ecosystem.
These partnerships exemplify our commitment to collaboration and our mission to create an open environment for innovation. We look forward to welcoming more project partners as we continue to build a dynamic and thriving ecosystem together.
3. Cubic & Sui Builder House Seoul
Cubic’s participation in the Sui Builder House Seoul event signifies its preparations to establish a community and expand game collaborations in South Korea. During the Sui Builder House event held in South Korea on June 3rd, Cubic, the largest community-driven gaming platform, officially announced its plans to establish a new community in the country and actively recruit game partners to further drive the development of its gaming ecosystem. This strategic move into the South Korean market aims to enhance Cubic’s global presence and strengthen its influence in the Asian market.
4. Offline Meetup — GameFi Suinami Wave in Korea
In partnership with LOA, Cubic hosted an interactive offline meetup — GameFi Suinami Wave in Korea to strengthen community ties and foster collaboration. This gathering ignited considerable interest and solicited enthusiastic participation from diverse stakeholders within the Korean gaming industry, including local game developers, gaming communities, and KOLs. The event became a hotbed for vibrant ideation and insightful discussions, further propelling the event’s momentum.
Product Updates:
1. NFT Marketplace Launch
This month, we successfully launched our NFT Primary and Secondary Marketplaces, which now provide users with a platform for buying, selling, and trading their NFTs.
2. Cubic Crate Season 1
We launched our official blind box, the Cubic Crate Season 1, and made it tradeable on our platform. We thank our community for their enthusiastic participation and support. Regarding Cubic’s inaugural blind box release, 2000 blind boxes were minted within 10 minutes.
3. Cubi’s Bouncing Adventure
We marked the launch of our newest game, ‘Cubi’s Bouncing Adventure’. Cubi’s Bouncing Adventure is the first game on Cubic that blends action, strategy, and role-playing elements. Players take control of Cubi, a cute and courageous character who must defeat monsters and bosses to advance through the game’s levels. Cubi wields a weapon that fires bullets, which bounce off walls and enemies, allowing for strategic gameplay.
4. Battleship V2.0
We launched the updated version, Battleship V2.0, which offers enhanced features and a more immersive gaming experience.Battleship is a classic board game that has been adapted into a Web3 format for onchain play. The game is played on a grid of squares, with each player placing their ships on their own grid and then taking turns firing shots at their opponent’s grid to try and sink their ships.
5. LOA Collaboration
This month, we supported our partner LOA in the issuance of Chips NFT and successfully implemented a Voting event. Collaborations like these allow us to strengthen the blockchain ecosystem and deliver more value to our users. 26,699 LOA Sui Chip NFT were minted, ended with big success!
Technology Updates
In May, Cubic achieved several breakthroughs in terms of technology, covering the following topics:
1. Issuing Tokens and NFTs using Move Contracts
Cubic successfully implemented the issuance of tokens and non-fungible tokens (NFTs) using Move contracts. Move contracts, developed by Facebook, provide robust security and flexibility, making the process of token and NFT issuance more reliable and efficient. With this breakthrough, Cubic offers users a convenient way to create, issue, and manage their own tokens and NFTs, fostering the development of the digital asset space.
2. Implementing Prediction Markets and Launching Voting Pools using Move Contracts
Cubic also utilized Move contracts to implement prediction markets and launched voting pools. Prediction markets are smart contract-based mechanisms that allow users to predict the outcomes of specific events and place bets. By leveraging Move contracts, Cubic provides users with a secure, transparent, and reliable prediction market platform, enabling them to participate in various events of interest and earn rewards through betting.
3. Compatibility with the Kiosk Abstraction Framework, Native Support for Trading and Royalty Policies
Cubic successfully achieved compatibility with the Kiosk abstraction framework, which natively supports trading and royalty policies. Kiosk is a versatile framework that simplifies the development process of blockchain applications. Through compatibility with the Kiosk framework, Cubic facilitates the implementation of trading and royalty policies, offering an improved user experience.
4. Compatibility with the OriginByte NFT Protocol Empowering Asset Liquidity
Cubic achieved compatibility with the OriginByte NFT protocol to empower asset liquidity. The OriginByte NFT protocol is a protocol used for creating, trading, and managing NFTs, providing standardized interfaces and features to facilitate the development of the NFT market. By being compatible with the OriginByte NFT protocol, Cubic enables users to conveniently trade their NFT assets with other users and achieve asset liquidity in a wider market.
5. Implementing the Merkle Whitelist Verification Mechanism on Move Contracts
Cubic successfully applied the Merkle whitelist verification mechanism to Move contracts. The Merkle whitelist verification mechanism is a verification method based on Merkle trees used to verify whether a specific address is on a whitelist. By integrating this verification mechanism with Move contracts, Cubic enhances the security and trustworthiness of the contracts, ensuring that only addresses on the whitelist can perform specific operations, thus improving the overall system’s security.
Through these breakthroughs, Cubic made significant technological advancements in May, providing users with innovative features and a better user experience.
